The generator loads directly on the Secret Santa page. Type a name and press Enter, or paste a list copied from a spreadsheet. The participant list, budget, date, and exclusion controls are all on the same screen, and the draw button is right there.
When the draw succeeds, you are taken to a private organizer page. That page is the closest thing to an account: bookmark it, because it is how you return to copy links later.
What replaces an account
A long random token in the organizer URL replaces a login. The token is generated with secure randomness and cannot be guessed. The server stores only a hash of it, so even a database dump does not reveal working links.

- No session that another device can hijack.
The trade-off is simple: anyone with the organizer link can manage the exchange, so keep it private. There is no password recovery because there is no password.
Built for one-off exchanges
Most gift exchanges happen once a year. Asking people to create an account for a single draw adds friction and stores data that nobody needs afterward. This tool keeps the workflow short and lets the event expire automatically after 90 days.
If you run the same group next year, you can reuse your name list but create a fresh draw. New tokens are generated every time, so old links never expose the new assignments.
